• Recruit the businesses and services that support residents while strengthening the visitor experience.
• Create memorable public spaces that celebrate Michigan's capital city and encourage people to gather year-round.
• Improve connectivity between downtown, surrounding neighborhoods, the riverfront, and regional destinations.
• Partner with developers, businesses, institutions, residents, and government to turn vision into reality.

Every investment, every streetscape improvement, every new business, every housing development, and every public space should move us closer to a downtown that serves as the economic, cultural, and civic heart of Michigan.

Because when Michigan's Downtown succeeds, the benefits extend far beyond Downtown Lansing. A stronger capital city creates a stronger region, a stronger economy, and a stronger Michigan.
